Miguel Enríquez was Puerto Rico ́s most important and influential privateer during the 18th century. The British considered him “the grand arch villain” and his name travelled the world. He was erased from the history books because he was born a mulatto in an island controlled by a white elite and his story is virtually forgotten.

Winner of the 2013 Gold Peer Award for Best Director in the Short Documentary category presented by the Television, Internet & Video Association (TIVA) based in Washington, DC. Finalist for the Best Cinematography Award at 2014 Visions Festival in Washington, DC.
